Dr Nasreen Akoo
Dr Nasreen Akoo is a dedicated doctor with a passion for children’s health. She graduated with honours and distinction in the clinical sciences from the University of Cape Town and subsequently refined her skills in neonatology and paediatric emergency care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she founded The Qhawe Project to support mothers whose babies were admitted to the neonatal ICU. Dr Nasreen holds a Diploma in Child Health and combines her expertise with empathy to deliver compassionate care to every young patient and their family.

Dr Tennille Thomas
Dr Tennille Thomas is a passionate advocate for children’s health. She graduated with distinction in the clinical sciences from the University of Cape Town and trained across various parts of South Africa. She gained experience in emergency and general paediatric care working at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. Dr Tennille holds a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in HIV Management, underscoring her comprehensive expertise. Committed to compassionate and high-quality care, she ensures every child receives the best possible treatment in a nurturing environment.
